What is Professional or Executive Coaching?
Coaches uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client’s level of awareness and responsibility and provides the client with structure, support and feedback.
Through coaching Dr. Walters allows the client to be in charge of the agenda and to set their own personal goals. The coaching experience is based on trust between the client and coach understanding that confidentiality between the two will be maintained. Then, through a series of Socratic-like questions, Dr. Walters helps the client to move towards the identified goals by drawing out ideas and thoughts from within that the client may not have known were there. To obtain an "aha" moment that the realized task can be done and that skill needed is inside of you or can be developed is awesome!
